Why fundraise for Wildwood?

Help protect endangered British wildlife by funding our conservation projects, protecting and reintroducing species like bison, beavers and water vole that are extinct or threatened in the wild.

Your support helps us implement innovative rewilding programs, care for the animals in our wildlife parks, and educate the public, ensuring nature thrives for future generations.

Arman and Chloe celebrated their birthdays with Wildwood!

Arman and Chloe raised £70 for Wildwood, by completing an impressive 10km sponsored walk to celebrate Chloe's 21st birthday.

"My friends and I went to Wildwood for the first time ever, the previous year, a night tour to celebrate my 20th birthday.

We absolutely loved the place, the animals and the conservation projects happening.

We wanted to show our support to the charity by visiting on our days off from university. Then we saw the fundraiser to Walk On The Wildside, and as my friend Chloe is an avid hiker, we figured it would be a great way to celebrate her 21st birthday."

2025.09.01 Fundraiser Readsstories

Roger reads a story a day — all to support Wildwood!

For many years now, Roger Dilley has been reading a fun, free story every weekday online at 1pm! What started in lockdown every day to lift spirits is now a five-year streak of daily reads, with a regular Wildwood donation link shared at each reading.

"I first became aware of Wildwood Kent many years ago when it was first reported that you would be campaigning to rescue and rehome two bears. The story touched my heart. Over the years, I have watched those two thin, emaciated, troubled souls become the wonderful, happy, well cared for bears we now know as Scruff and Fluff.

And then there are the wolves; Odin and Nuna produced a litter of cubs. There was a raffle run for who the lucky person to draw back the gates, and we won it! The day you allowed Helen and me behind the scenes for me to open the gates to allow the wolves into their new enclosure will be one I shall treasure for the rest of my life. I can never thank you enough.

Those are just two of the many 'moments' that make Wildwood Kent so special for me. Was it any wonder that when I began Roger's Readings back in the early days of lockdown to cheer folk up in the dark days of COVID, that Wildwood Trust would be the charity I chose to support? I continue to do the daily shows on Facebook to this day and there is always a link to the online DONATION page."
