Job Purpose
This role is the main point of contact for all guests staying in our yurt accommodation. You will provide the highest levels of customer service, ensuring that customers have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, as well as the administration of all bookings and enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination of all yurt bookings, updating availability and responding to all enquiries in a timely manner.
Greet and settle in guests, creating a positive visitor experience for all.
Prepare yurts for school residential trips and holiday lets, including cleaning and laundry.
Turn around the yurts between bookings in an efficient manner, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Act as the first point of contact for any guest requests and issues arising.
Reporting maintenance issues in a timely fashion to the appropriate department.
Promote additional services or amenities to enhance the guest experience.
Support the Education department as and when required.
The Working Week
Your working week will be varied and busy, structured by clear processes and procedures to meet both weekly and monthly deadlines. On-site attendance is required to welcome guests to the yurts, manage any issues arising, and to provide support to the Education department as needed.
Core working hours are 09:00 until 17:00 with an unpaid half an hour for lunch. This post is 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, including all weekends during peak season and bank holidays. Usual working days will be between Thursday and Tuesday, but this will vary depending on bookings. The job will involve overtime, including some evening working as part of your normal duties.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

Essential
Previous experience working in hospitality and housekeeping.
Excellent customer service skills with an approachable manner and solutions-focused approach.
Confident to carry out tasks independently and proactively, whilst also having the ability to work productively and successfully with a team.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication, with good computer literacy.
Ability to work to tight deadlines, with excellent time keeping.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting to unexpected situations and problem solving effectively
GSCE grade C or above in Maths and English (alternative equivalent qualifications will be considered).
Demonstrate a genuine love of British wildlife and belief in Wildwood’s Mission; to protect, conserve, and rewild British wildlife.
Desirable
Hospitality certification
A good working knowledge of MS Excel
Previous experience overseeing booking systems
