Park Cleaner
Contract: Part time, permanent
Location: Devon park, based outside of Ottery St Mary
Reports to: General Park Manger
Responsible for: This role has no direct reports or line management responsibility

Job Purpose
This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the park facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the yurt village residential centre facilities are cleaned between groups and supplies are fully stocked up
- Cleaning of all park facilities such as toilets, play barn and offices
- Stocktakes and ordering of cleaning and toilet supplies
- Be aware of, and work at all times within, health and safety regulations and requirements
- Report any damaged or unusable equipment and maintenance issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication when handling enquires and engaging with schools, groups and park visitors in a professional and helpful manner
The Working Week
Your working week will be varied, with visitor facilities spread across the park, and outdoor working in all weathers.
Your working hours are a guaranteed minimum hours of 21 hours per week, with additional hours required during the busy residential season between April – October. Shifts will need to be flexible to accommodate cleaning the yurts between groups and the park facilities such as toilets and offices either before or after the park opening hours. Occasionally there will be residential group swap overs which happen mid-morning and require a quick turnaround.
The job will involve overtime, including some evening, weekend and bank holiday working as part of your normal duties.
