Garrulus glandarius

The jay is a member of the crow family native to the UK, with peach-pink feathers and a blue bar on its wing, and black and white tail feathers. It is a little larger than a blackbird. They live in woodland so are often difficult to see. They eat nuts, seeds and insects. Our Jay is very inquisitive, and will often come right up to the viewing pane to see who is visiting.
