Easter at Wildwood
30th March - 15th April
Spring is in the air, new life is blossoming at Wildwood and our Easter programme is now in place. We have plenty of activities to entertain adults and children over the egg-citing two week period, including free talks, feeds, activities and a FREE 'Find the Bunny' trail with a draw for some great prizes.
We also have our menagerie of British wildlife from past and present, a new wolf enclosure and viewing area, a new kiosk for tasty snacks and beverages, the bears out of hibernation and our egg-xtraordinary playpark - all wrapped up in 40 acres of ancient woodland.
We can't wait to see you this Easter!
Meet the Animal
Your chance to meet one of our cuddly, friendly critters - polecats, rabbits, snakes and hedgehogs will all be appearing regularly at one of our daily sessions. Ask at our admissions area for times on the day when you arrive.
Daily Talks
Find out more about the history and behaviour of our animals with engaging talks and feeds by our wildlife experts.

  • 12.30pm - Otters
  • 1.30pm - Ravens
  • 2.30pm - Lynx
  • 3.30pm - Wallabies

* We have an extended program of talks on the weekends, please ask for times on entry. All talks will take place at the animals' enclosures. Talks may be changed, please check the noticeboard on entry to the park.
Get close to nature and interact with antlers, skulls, furs and other tactile animal artifacts at our touchtables on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
'Find the Bunny' Trail
It's free, it's over the whole of the Easter break and it involves bunny rabbits. Help your little ones to find our grass bunnies throughout the park, fill out the trail card with the correct answers and then enter into our prize draw for a chance to win vouchers.
Our resident woodsman, Steve Kirk, will be running FREE bushcraft activities throughout the park on Wednesday 4th, Saturday 7th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April. Find out how our ancestors interacted with nature, and learn how to hunt, cook and survive in ancient woodland.
Bookable Events
All of our events take place between 10:30 - 11:30 and cost £4 per session. All events must be booked in advance. Please contact education@wildwoodtrust.org to book an event or find out more information.
