Book now

Saturday 28th May

10.00am – 4.00pm

Tutor: Anne Riddell

Spend a day in the woods, learning practical ecology skills and how to dissect and understand the different elements of the coppice woodland ecosystem. Count and assess woodland plants to work out why they grow where they do and wield a pooter to collect as many invertebrates as you can from the woodland floor to understand why they vary from place to place.

This field trip offers an opportunity to use standard field techniques, backed up by a short ecological statistics workshop to test your results and understanding to end the day.
